I'm John. I'm a Madison, Wisconsin photographer that specializes in outdoor photos, natural light photos and on-location photography of kids, teenagers and their families, too. 

I do my best work, and you'll get the best results, taking candid photos of your kids living and playing in their own, kid world. What better time, after all, to capture a kid’s true personality than when they’re in their own, comfortable environment?

Your Photoshoot

My goal is to simply provide parents with great, modern photos of their kids (and of them with their kids) that they can enjoy in their home and share with grandparents, friends, neighbors, and on and on - without having to pay a fortune for prints or roll the dice on a mass-production studio. Here's how I do it:

1) I meet you at a location of your choice (your house, a park, a zoo - wherever) where your kids like to be and will be having fun.

2) I take candid pictures. Lots of them. Typically several-hundred.

3) I sort through the photos and then give you all of the original, post-processed digital files (in fact, a color and black-and-white version of each). From there, you take those files and make all the prints you want, wherever you want, and share them with whomever you want, with no additional fees owed to me, ever.
